At 500 km, no one is coming to save you
For decades, satellites operated alone and relied on instructions from the ground. Today, multi-satellite formations demand something different: real autonomy. In this article I explore that problem from the inside, through the distributed control system I developed in my thesis, where four agents learn to coordinate in the void without anyone telling them how.
